A Day at the Races: The Candavish Ladies with Charmagne





What's not to love about these fabulous stamps by Kanban? These beautiful ladies have dressed in their finest for a fine day at the races. We accented these cards with the fabulous American Crafts line, Peachy Keen. Come and experiment with Spellbinders Fancy Labels Three, Crafty Lounge's Sparkly Fluff and Glossy Accents along with the colouring medium of your choice. Choose your sentiment and your recipient...this stamp set has so much versatility! These three cards come with their own beautiful slip envelopes to complete them. Uncaged, with Bonnie





When we saw these dies at CHA in Los Angeles, we knew they would be popular. We were right because our second order has already been placed!

This class will “uncage” your creative anxiety and free you to ink, distress and bend your paper into new forms.

We will be playing with the beautiful papers from the “So Sophie” line from My Minds Eye, dies, misters, punches, Tim’s Distress Inks, and rub ons to create these beautiful cards.

Pretty Pinnings Cards, with Charmagne



This paper piercing technique originally was called Pinhole Art in the 1930's when women would gather together with their children and create images to paste to the windows to let the sunshine shine through their creations. Today we call this process Peragamo. I've always been interested in this technique and decided to give it a try. Come and learn how to create elegant cards using a piercing tool or simple straight pins. Dust off those chalks because we'll be using those too!

I've been furiously making these beautiful handmade flowers for days now and decided to focus on these pretties for this months challenge layout. Create your own paper creations using Tim Holtz Tattered Florals Die and various punches. You will never look at your punches the same again! Create and stamp your own vintage style envelope as a wonderful layout accent and play with the incredibly Jazzy "Curtain Call"paper line from Graphic 45. You know seats are limited so sign up now! Steampunk Vintage, with Maresa






What happens when you mix together Graphic 45 papers, alcohol inks, metal embossing, dry embossing, Tim Holtz Dies, tons of inking, and a slew of nifty embellishments? A little bit of magic. :) This is one of my very favorite techniques, and I'm thrilled to be able to share it with you! Classes are filling up very quickly, so make sure to call early to reserve your spot.

This class is full of cool techniques, too numerous to itemize them all; but, we will be making all of our embellishments , embossing metal, tinting ribbon, making 3-D decorative pieces, etc., etc.

Faux Book Card, with Maresa


This is a little bit of trompe l'oeil. :) It might look like a small hard-bound book, but it is really a card that has a hollow inside. [This makes it perfect for tucking small little surprises into the interior.]

Featuring The Paper Loft printed papers, Hero Arts Stamps, Tim Holtz dies, Martha Stewart punches, and lots of inking and such, this card is a fun change from the usual.

Curio Medallion Cards, with Maresa

I call these cards "foolers". When you look at them you think that the technique is so complicated that you could never learn to do it. Nope, that isn't the case! You won't believe how simple they are, but your friends and family needn't know that. ;)

Come to class and learn how to make your punches do amazing things.

I've been eying up the beautiful Basic Grey Curio paper forever, and I knew this was the perfect line to use with these fabulous "medallions". We will be dry embossing, stamping, misting and inking, these babies are loaded with tons of extras that make them lush and lovely. They are the perfect cards for special occasions.

If the cards aren't incentive enough, Gina has generously offered a discount on the punches used in these cards, when placed on special order.

Gesso Cards, with Annette






This month, we will be exploring different ways of using Gesso to create personalized backgrounds. Two involve using glossy paper, the other two, regular cardstock.
The drying time is an issue, so please think about adding an extra 30 minutes to the regular 3 hour class.
