Big Shot Projects with Annette




In this class you will use the Big Shot for all 3 projects - a glitter card, a stenciled card and a gift card holder. The Glitter Butterfly will show you how to use any image cut from your Big Shot with glitter with the next step from Peel-offs. This technique will give you another great use for your dies. Both of the other projects use dies from the Mariaane design Creatables line. The bird card will focus on embossing and stenciling, while the gift card holder will feature the tip for how to use intricate dies and successfully remove the image and all pieces from the die itself.

Supplies to bring: basic kit, craft mat, fine tip tweezers, sharp craft knife, glitter magnet cloth, applicator felts and handle, sponges for inking, corner rounder punch. Distress Inks: Walnut Stain, Peeled Paint and Broken China.

Vintage SteamPunk Canvas with Heather



You will get down right inky and grungy with this project! We will use Alcohol Inks, Metal Tape, Tim Holtz Dies, Embossing Powders, Distress Inks, Tons of Vintage Findings and more on a 7x14 canvas. ALL supplies included.

Students please bring a basic tool kit of scissors, adhesives, paper trimmer.
Distress Inks or other favorites if you have...I only have a limited selection. By all means bring your favorite colours!
If you have a craft mat, heat gun, blending tools or sponges, favorite vintage stamps you would like to incorporate, please bring them. Also, if you have any vintage trinkets or ephemera you wish to use on the canvas, bring it along! I encourage you to make it your OWN!
There is a ton of inking so if you have a buddy to share inks with all the better. You might also want to wear rubber gloves?

The Copic Certification Class encompasses education of the most important aspects of Copic's product lines and includes hands-on education of product knowledge, blending techniques, answers to common problems and how to test and select your inks and papers. We will show you how to demonstrate, teach and sell Copic products. You will receive a complete curriculum filled with a 68 page manual, techniques and class instructions, as well as a teacher’s kit of products for demonstration (11 Copic products valued at $85.00 US MSRP) which includes one of each type of product from these lines. Yup, I am one of the masses that has fallen in love with Pink Paislee Butterfly Garden. The collection is amazing! The colours are soft and pastoral, without being washed out and insipid.

Another class packed full of techniques! These cards incorporate UTEE, shrink plastic, embedded embossing, diffusion, ribbon dying, and dry embossing, to name a few. [And of course, we will be inking like mad fools. :)]

This was such a fun, popular class the first time I offered it, it sold out, so it is being offered again.

I have changed the papers and the colors but kept the beautiful texture and “bird” theme of these cards.

We will distress, ink and shape paper to create these beauties! Punches, metallic rubs, dies, embossing folders, inks and crackle combined with the beautiful “Botanical” papers from Prima will be used.
