This class comes just in time for Valentines Day. You'll want to use these pieces for those special people in your life! They are created from BoBunny crush stripe
papers and co-ordinating solids. Embellishments are Cricut cut-outs, buttons, yarn, bling, Glossy Accents & Diamond Dust. Chocolate treats included.
Please bring adhesives & mini-glue dots if you have them.

This beautiful trio of cards are the card maker's version of the "Alter Everything" layout challenge. Come and alter everything on these versatile cards that can be given out for Valentine's Day or saved for a rainy one. We will be inking, spritzing and alcohol ink dying embellishments to change their original look. Add some stamping, flower rolling and glossy accenting and you've got one heck of a class!

I know many of us spend lots of time and energy on our significant others and children around Valentine's Day. This class is all about honouring our friendships that we so carefully nurture through the years. These fantastic little treats are to show our friends how much we cherish and love them! Each treat is completely different...a candy box, a covered chocolate bar and a card/chocolate combination! Come and play with tea dyed cheesecloth, ribbon, tulle, distress inks and vintage buttons. Rubber stamping is hot, hot, hot! Many crafters are discovering how versatile and fun cardmaking can be, but with so much product available on the market it is often confusing to know what will do what.

ABC's of Copic Markers, with Maresa



Copic markers are all the craze, and here's your chance to learn all about them. This is a workshop-style class where you will learn the basic colour techniques of Copics, as well as paper and ink selection, colouring techniques, blending techniques and refilling your pens. You will also be exploring advanced techniques that you can use with these pens, like how to colour direct ink onto rubber, airbrushing, blender solution techniques, mixed media, and more!

Tons of handouts will be emailed to class registrants. [And this is a good thing! You will be learning so much in this class that information will be leaking out of your head by class end. ;)]

Maresa is a certified Copic Marker designer.

In this class, you will be introduced to an exciting new product and an exciting new technique. The product is Shimmer Sheetz (which comes in a variety of colours). While we will be working with a Valentine theme, you will be able to use this technique for any occasion and find new ways to use your embossing folders and glitter. In addition, we will be exploring a variation of the pop-up card. Be sure to pop by the store to view as the pictures do not do the cards justice!

Alter Everything Layout, with Charmagne!


The new year is always full of promises, resolutions and fresh starts. So here's an idea I have for 2011! Each month I will be doing a layout that challenges us paper crafters to think "outside of the box." These layouts will include new techniques and products, perhaps things that you haven't tried before! So here's the first Challenge layout of 2011! This challenge is all about altering...every item used in fact! We will play with Pink Paislee's Anthology line, Ranger Distress inks, Winter Frost Stamps, Perfect Pearls, Diamond Dust and so much more. Make 2011 your most creative year yet!
