Steampunk Trio, with Charmagne

Good byes are always hard. For those of you who haven't heard, I am moving to Vancouver at the end of August. I will miss all of my crafty friends most of all! In appreciation of your support, creativeness and just plain FABULOUSNESS... I am hosting a free class day on Saturday, August 16, 2014!

This trio includes two cards and a oversized tag. Each card is filled with various dies and metallics that will make every steampunk fanatic drool! We will explore the wonderful world of metallic rub ons while using a variety of dies and Tim Holtz's stamp set, "Random Quotes". There are only twelve spots for this class, so sign up today!

This layout is using the Simple Stories paper line "Home Spun". Learn how to use transparent tape to create faux banners and a way to use up all those little leftover paper pieces we all have lying around. This class is limited to eight spots, so register today!

Friendship Cards, with Taryn

With summer here, I wanted to create some pretty feminine cards to give to girlfriends or any special lady in your life. These are perfect to give for birthday's, weddings or just thinking of you cards.

You will be coloring on vellum die cuts with Tombow markers, edge punching, embossing with the cuttle bug and building flowers.

August Stack A Stash, with Hazel

On the last Sunday of the month, we teach a card class called Stack A Stash and it is hosted by a different instructor each month.

In this class you will make two all occasion cards and two Christmas cards. This class is an awesome way to start a stash of cards, ready to have on hand when an occasion arises.

This month’s class will feature Memory Box, Elizabeth and Spellbinder dies. You can choose the sentiments that will best suit your needs.

There are many gorgeous printed papers out there to use as backgrounds for our card creations. Sometimes stepping out of the box and creating your own can be fun.

Do you need a different way to use all those embossing folders you own? How about all the cool stencils that we have seen and purchased and now ask “what do I do with these”?

You will create these four gorgeous cards using embossing folders, gesso, acrylic paint, embossing paste, stencils, embossing powder and my favorite, Tim Holtz distress inks.

You know I love those stand-up cards! This one is particularly delightful for a number of occasions. It involves a combination of dies with the base Butterfly Pivot Card by Elizabeth. A touch of bling makes it special and you will also make an envelope to fit. If you haven't tried the Envelope Punch Board by We R Memory Keepers, you'll see how easy it is to make the size envelope for every card.

We have our new point of sale system up and running, but we want to take the next week to get very comfortable with it before we start our big sale. Our current inventory is loaded into the new system and we are starting to enter the new product tomorrow. You are welcome to come in and shop, take classes and crop as usual!
