This year I have chosen paper lines from Eco Park and Carta Bella. These gorgeous, glittery cards will be a great start to your Christmas card making.

You will make two of each of six different cards for a total of twelve cards; complete with envelopes too!

The Best Christmas Crop Ever!

This is It!  The event of the year!

Take Memories and More, add a Crop Till You Drop, mix in a terrific chef, blend in three united church groups, and stir it all together with the PSS scrappers group.  What do you get?  THE BEST CHRISTMAS CROP EVER! 

Well that is what we are aiming for.  We are planning a jam packed crop full of fun, surprises, prizes, games, challenges and oh yes, lots of time to work on your projects. Best of all this is a fund raiser.  All the proceeds from the crop are going to help  the Central Okanagan Refugee Committee!  So you earn good karma as well. 

This will be a fun filled day at Parkinson Activity Center.  This is the new building next to Parkinson Recreation Center.  Doors open at nine a.m.  and close at nine p.m.  There will be a full turkey dinner served at 5:30.  A continental breakfast of coffee, tea, muffins and fruit.  Snacks will be available through out the day.  Lunch is not included but Parkinson Senior Center kitchen has agreed to open for our event and will offer soup and sandwiches for a very reasonable price.  The coffee shop offers a variety of special coffees as well.

October Stack a Stash, with Maresa

On the last Sunday of the month, we teach a card class called Stack A Stash, and it is hosted by a different instructor each month. It is such a great way to start your stash of cards, ready to have on hand when an occasion arises.

In the Stack A Stash classes, you make two all occasion cards and two Christmas cards.

This month you will be creating two Christmas cards, and two cards that can be adapted for pretty much any occasion.  [There will be a variety of sentiment stamps available for your choice.]

Who doesn't love Lawn Fawn's Christmas release?  Come and create four gorgeous cards full of sparkle, pops of colour and adorable animals. Learn the basics of watercolouring with various mediums including Clean Colour pens, Tombow markers and watercolour pencils.  Learn the mechanics behind shaker cards and peek a boo slider cards.  This is one time only class so register today!
