Minion Slipper Class, with Denica

Let's make some Minions! Slippers, that is... ;)

This class is a bit of a deviation from our regular classes but we all need a change once in a while, right?!

Date: Saturday, October 17, 2015
Time: 10:00 am to 3:00 pm (give or take)
Cost: $25.00
Call the store to register: 250-769-1257

*The cut off date to sign up for this class is October 3rd!!*  Don't hesitate!

This is an intermediate crochet class, easy, but all you need to know is a few basic stitches. Chain (ch), slip stitch (sl st), single crochet (sc) and a double crochet (dc). There are some great tutorials on the internet if you need to brush up on your skills beforehand. You need to have a basic knowledge of Crochet before class as we will need all of our time to try to complete this project.

What you need to bring:
  • scissors
  • 5 mm crochet hook (this can be ordered through the store ahead of time)
  • 3.75 mm crochet hook ( this can be ordered through the store ahead of time)
  • 2 stitch markers (if you have them, you can also use safety pins or yarn)
  • a row counter or a pen or pencil and note pad (to keep track of your rows)
  • a yarn needle
All the yarn and the pattern will be supplied

This pattern makes an adult sized pair of slippers, but can easily be changed to make smaller sized slippers for all those little ones on your Christmas list that are Minion crazy!

Feel free to bring a lunch or snack
