April Stack a Stash, with Denica




On the last Sunday of each month, we teach a card class called Stack A Stash. Each month you make two all occasion cards and two Christmas cards. This is such a great way to start a stash of cards and have them on-hand when an occasion arises.

This month’s cards include two Christmas and two Birthday creations.

Flower Shaping with Heartfelt Creations!

Hello ladies! There has been some buzz around the store about a special event, and I now can tell you all about it!

Jennifer Thiessen, an Independent Instructor for Heartfelt Creations, is coming to share with us her techniques for flower shaping, making cards with these amazing flowers and a special mini album class. This is a weekend full of technique, so come with a note book in hand!
Here is Jennifer's introduction!

My name is Jennifer Thiessen and I am an Independent Instructor for Heartfelt Creations. I live in Abbotsford and have been crafting for 20+ years. I fell in love with Heartfelt Creations products years ago at a convention in Seattle and have been promoting their product and teaching their techniques for the past year in Western Canada through local scrapbook stores. (Note* I am not a Heartfelt Creations Design Team member...not yet anyway!).

Class 1: Beginners Class, For the love of flowers. $25 (no cards).
Saturday April 8, 10am -12 pm

Are you a beginner crafter? Lear about the flower shaping tool, the technique and teh beauty of paper flowers. Using the flower shaping tools, you will make 7 different flowers using only 1 stamp and die, The Arianna Blooms.

Class 2: Flower Dogwood (Heartfelt Creations) $28, 3 cards
Saturday April 8, 12:30 to 2:30 pm

The flower of B.C. Learn the art of flower shaping using Heartfelt Creations and flower shaping tools. Make 3 lovely cards for Easter or spring. All parts and pieces are already cut out for you. You will learn the technique of coloring and shaping the dogwood in both paper and vellum.

Class 3: Class Rose (Heartfelt Creations) $28, 2 cards

There has never been a prettier flower...and so easy to make from paper. In this class you will work with paper and vellum. You will make 2 lovely cards as this class focuses quite a bit on shaping technique. All parts and pieces are already cut out for you.

Sunday April 9, 11 to 1 pm
This album shows what can be done with the "Pocket and Flip Folds Insert E" for the Flip and Fold 3D album. This class will get you set up for a full album class that we will be revealing at this weekend event, but you will go home with this adorable album!

ABC's of Scrapbooking with Hazel



Do you want to get your precious photos out of the shoe box or off your computer? For those of you who want to get started, this class covers some of the basic techniques required. During this class you'll create a 2 page spread while learning how to crop and mat your photos.
